Welcome to LearningAI

Before we start, there is one thing you should know.

You are not here to become an AI scientist.

You are not going to spend the next half hour staring at mathematical formulas while wondering whether you accidentally enrolled in university.

The goal of LearningAI is much simpler:

Understand AI well enough to actually use it.

AI is a tool. A very powerful one.

Like most powerful tools, it becomes dramatically more useful once you understand roughly what is happening underneath the hood.

You do not need to know how an engine works to drive a car. But understanding the accelerator, brake and fuel gauge makes you a much better driver.

AI is the same.

So in this lesson, we are going to pop the hood.

Not dismantle the engine.

Just pop the hood.
